Mixing acrylic paint into the latex also works great. There’s no need to get specific latex paint.

@QueenOfParadoxia you could put on a opaque layer of make up to your actors face. Then use water or make-up remover to sculpt the shape of the mask. Make sure that the the actor’s skin is not visible under the layer of make up.
